Slavonia is the largest and most spacious vineyard producing subregion. It includes wine-growing hills of Đakovo, Slavonski Brod, Nova Gradiška, Požega-Pleternica, Kutjevo, Daruvar, Pakrac, Feričanci, Orahovica-Slatina and Virovitica. The ever-sunny southwest slopes of Dilj, Požeška gora, Krndija, Papuk and Psunj are ideal for viniculture, which is evident from many winemakers from Slavonia being awarded with increasing frequency. The main variety in this subregion is Graševina (Welschriesling).
